Reserva is a piece of beach between the Barra da Tijuca and Recreio dos Bandeirantes beaches. Its name comes from the fact that the beach is located in an ecological reserve area. Its vegetation is preserved and there are certain parts where there is no parking. The Reserva beach is notorious for its clean water and sand and for being little frequented.
