MAM Rio is a cultural institution of a private nature focused on the public interest, non-profit, supported by individuals and companies.
Since its founding in 1948, the museum has been at the forefront of the cultural scene in Rio de Janeiro and receives people from all over Brazil and the world. It has a privileged location by Guanabara Bay, next to Santos Dumont airport and close to downtown Rio de Janeiro.MAM Rio's structure allows for customized events. Besides the event hall with a terrace overlooking one of the most beautiful views in Rio, it has spaces of various sizes and profiles.Outdoor spaces with landscaping signed by Roberto Burle Marx, created in direct dialogue with the architectural ensemble of the museum. The Stone Garden features monumental sculptures and is surrounded by nature and overlooking the sea.
