Sugarloaf Cable Car

The Pão de Açúcar cable car park has breathtaking experiences. From the top of its hills, it is possible to contemplate the main beaches in the south zone of Rio de Janeiro, the contour of the mountains, view of Cristo Redentor, the Rio-Niterói Bridge, and the beauty of city architecture.

A postcard of Rio de Janeiro, the park is composed of the Urca and Sugarloaf Mountains connected by a cable car (tramway), allowing the visitor to discover new angles of the city, 396 meters above sea level, in the heart of the Atlantic Forest.

The Pão de Açúcar cable car is accessible for wheelchairs and people with reduced mobility. It features shops, bars and restaurants with stunning views and ti's suitable for all ages.
