Municipal Theater – Foyer
Inaugurated in 1909, the Municipal theatre is one of the main show houses of Brazil and Latin America. Currently, it got a big reform, where gems like a large original panel of the Italian Eliseu Visconti was rescued. Important areas of it was restored, with a highlight to the impressive eagle of 350kg that garnishes the construction top, it earned 8 thousand gold papers 23 karats of gilding. Its design was inspired on the Paris Opera.
The Foyer is an area that gives access to the Spectacles Room. The space is used for small exhibitions and also for small concerts and recordings.
