Cachoeira da Gruta (Cave Waterfall)

The Horto Waterfalls, the Paineiras, the pleasant Parque Lage, and the Transcarioca Trail are also important attractions. Part of the Horto Waterfalls complex, the Gruta Waterfall is located on the Solar da Imperatriz-Parque Lage section of the Transcarioca Trail. A good option for refreshment during the ride, the waterfall is located between Jequitibá and Paineiras.
