General Osório Square

General Osório Square is located in the Ipanema neighborhood, on the south side of the city. The square has many fairs: on Tuesdays, there's the free fair, on Thursdays, the Organic fair, and on Sundays, the Hype fair.
The place is surrounded by trees, with benches and tables, and the Chafariz das Saracuras (Saracuras Fountain), a Mestre Valentim's work. There's also an area for kids. One of the Ipanema metro stations is named after the square, and one of its accesses is in the square.
