Imperator – João Nogueira Cultural Center

Imperator was, for a long time, the space where the largest cinema in Latin America (Cine Imperator) used to be, and is considered one of the largest concert halls in the city. With a modern architectural style, Imperator is divided into four modern floors: the cinema rooms, the exhibition rooms, the theater and the terrace.
The terrace is 1200m², and is often used for alternative shows. Its theater has an Italian stage with retractable bleachers technology and a light grid structure, a motorized mechanism with a frequency inverter, electronically activated by a switchboard in the stage aisle. In addition, the space has a bar in the audience to serve the public on concert days.
