Paris Square

The Paris Square is located at Glória district, in front of Flamengo Park and Marina da Glória. It had its design inspired by the squares and gardens of the Parisian belle époque, projected by the Urban Planner Alfred Agache. The public spot is very wooded and has many large almond trees. The square also presents sculptures and statues in marble and bronze, a water mirror, besides the fountain that projects its waters till 20 meters high. Paris Square is a few meters away from the subway station and less than 5 kilometers far from the Santos Dumont Airport.
