MAM Rio is a cultural institution of a private nature focused on the public interest, non-profit, supported by individuals and companies.
Since its founding in 1948, the museum has been at the forefront of the cultural scene in Rio de Janeiro and receives people from all over Brazil and the world. It has a privileged location by Guanabara Bay, next to Santos Dumont airport and close to downtown Rio de Janeiro, besides having gardens by Burle Marx.MAM Rio's structure allows for customized events. Besides the event hall with a terrace facing one of the most beautiful views of Rio, it has spaces of varied sizes and profiles.Being part of the iconic building of modernism, the MAM Rio Pilotis, is a space of 1,200m², in a covered free span.
