In 2016, the Riachuelo Theater appears giving back to the city the gap left by the space of the old Cine Palácio, which once was one of the most traditional movie theaters in Rio de Janeiro. With a facade in neomourisco style and listed as a historical landmark, the Riachuelo Theater property keeps a good part of the original construction preserved, combining modernized facilities and state-of-the-art equipment with the beauty of the times of yesteryear. Its located near Santos Dumont airport.
With capacity for 999 seats, the audience of the Riachuelo Theater has a very intimate character due to its proximity to the stage, and anywhere in the audience, the public has total comfort and a privileged view. Fully equipped and available for corporate events, awards, product launches, training, lectures, conventions and etc, it offers the main items for the realization of your event such as: structure, staff, stage, big screen, projection and sound and light equipment.
