Urca Beach

Located on the edge of Urca Hill and bathed by the waters of Guanabara Bay, Urca Beach has a privileged view from its access. The strip of sand is small, and the sea is rarely suitable for bathing. It can also be reached from the Claudio Coutinho track, and its wide sidewalk is covered by the shade of almond trees. It is a calm beach, generally empty and used for educational preservation purposes since it has a wide range of species coexisting in its waters and sands.
